Gary
Holloway has over 35 years experience in propulsion and aerospace industries. His
primary expertise is in mechanical design and analysis of compressors, combustors,
turbines, and turbo-machinery bearings, drives, and lube systems; he has lead teams
of engineers in the development of advanced gas turbine engine components using advanced
composite materials (e.g., carbon-carbon, ceramic, and metal matrix). Gary has over
25 years of general management experience leading large scale development and production
programs, such as very successful GEAE/U.S. Air Force programs for the development
of carbon-carbon based turbine blades for the JTDE program, a composite drive shaft
for the JSF engine program.
During his career, he has received several outstanding achievements and management
awards recognizing his designs/innovations and program contributions to the aircraft
engine/gas turbine industry. He has received 10 patent awards, and he is a Registered
Professional Engineer. Gary has a B.S. Degree from North Carolina A&T State University.
